Anastasia Diner

I've heard a few negatives but I have been here several times and always had great food and very good and attentive service. Usually more than one person checks on patrons, waitress, cook, a different waitress, etc. The only reason I score a 4 is there sausage gravy is pretty good but too thick for my liking.

Good, solid diner fare. Been several times and always enjoyed what was served. Good price-to-quality ratio, good food at a reasonable price.

Nice people but the food was poor quality and kind of flavorless. We had eggs, bacon, home fries and grits. My husband's home fries tasted like bad grease. My potatoes were pretty good but that's about it. Don't recommend the simple eggs breakfast. Maybe the other dishes are better.

undoubtedly the perfect vibe you want after a long drive to welcome you on your visit to St. Augustine. this diner makes you feel at home. super friendly staff and no messy menus (also not a cluttered menu.) eggs beny and salmon sausage breakfast was excellent. only complaint would be that the tables where a bit close together.

Good food and friendly service.

Nice little diner. Breakfast is pretty big. The staff is super nice. Everyone smiles all the time. You shouldn't leave hungry that's for sure. Coffee is pretty good too.

visited and had a very nice breakfast on route to nearby nursery for plant shopping. very affordable and tasty. might be back for another visit next time we get near the area.

Food is solid, really good, and the quantities are ample. Iced tea was excellent, coffee also. Not much parking, though, and the day we went they were rather shorthanded, which meant long waits for service and check. Which is why only 4 stars, should be 4.5. Plenty of counter n table seating. If you like really good food, you will like this place a lot. Have never had anything bad or mediocre here. Breakfast all day.

Staff was helpful and friendly.. Prices are reasonable. We had breakfast.. Eggs...toast and sausage /ham with home fries.. Everything was hot and delicious.

Amazing salmon Benedict! The biscuits so good! The tomatoes tasted right out of the garden. I would totally recommend this place. Worth the money.

Another awesome breakfast as always. The staff is polite and the cook is awesome. I love the meat lovers omelet and the beef hash is off the chain. If your looking for breakfast come here and enjoy.

We travel to St. Augustine at least once a year and normally stay on the beach. We decided to stop in at Anastasia Diner and we are so glad we did. This is a great hidden gem that has great food! The staff was very friendly and the food was cooked perfectly. The portions are huge and perfect for holding you over between breakfast and dinner while exploring the city. Anastasia Diner will definitely be a go to for us whenever we stay in St. Augustine.

Nice family diner with a very friendly staff. We had breakfast, the portions were large and the food was really good. I usually don't care for home fries but these ones were on point. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a small town diner for classic American food.

Nice place for breakfast. I had the surf's up (2 pancakes, eggs, bacon or sausage) and added potatoes. The food was good, and I felt like the service was excellent. My only complaint would be that they should change how the syrup is dispensed. They use what I would describe as oil (Olive oil) glass jars/bottles. The syrup is too thick to properly dispense from these jars. Several from my party ordered pancakes or French toast, which created a wait for syrup. A few from my party complained about the taste of the water, but I thought it was alright. I would dine here again and recommend it.

Very good! Hot roast beef sandwich is the best! You shall try out!

My potatoes were unseasoned and very plain. French toast was not soaked in the batter thoroughly. My girlfriend enjoyed the salmon sausage patty. Service was timely and friendly.

A fun diner experience! The place was packed on a Sunday morning, and after having their food, we realized why. We had the St Augustine biscuits and gravy topped with poached eggs. Delicious! It is a very affordable place. Great value for money!

Exactly what a diner should be. Friendly and efficient service, good, fresh, and simple food was well-prepared. Our waitress was warm. We sat at the counter and watched the cooks prepare fresh food. My son enjoyed his chicken and waffles--raved about the gravy! I had a cobb salad that was fresh with nice sweet onions- a little light on the bacon, but after the holidays, that was probably merciful-- and it was a perfect size. Not too much. My husband's BLT was simple and delicious. A nice experience, pleasant diner, and good food.

Hole in the wall kind of place with a great selection. Food and service were wonderful. Also don't miss the beautiful mural on the end of the building.

Get here early it's so good it's packed! Small parking lot. Friendly staff. Mom and Pop place. Food portion is big!

This place has a very traditional atmosphere. If you're looking for a quick place to eat, this is not it. While service is good, it takes some time to get your drinks and food. However, the food is good and gives you time to socialize if you need some time to plan your next move.

Service was fast, food was great, atmosphere was good (could use a little more A/C). Let me tell you, we walked in, got seated, got our drinks, got our food in which seemed to be less than 5 minutes. Maybe cause of the time of the day (10:30am) or the day itself (Wednesday), not sure but I was happy. The server Jacquie was quick with her feet & quick with the order, which I expect from a diner usually: ya know the fast paced hustle & bustle service. Very attentive, you could always tell she was checking on you as she walked by, knowing when to ask if we needed anything or not. Now to the food, the food was great! I had the meat lovers omelette with the breakfast potatoes & an english muffin. My friend had the fried chicken & biscuits. BOTH EQUALLY AMAZING. My omelette was so packed with meat that it literally busted open on the side. Not complaining. Lol. And the chicken and biscuits is an excellent twist on biscuits & gravy. Definitely coming back!

Good ol' down home cooking! I had been craving a club sandwich, and I couldn't have found a better place for it. My girlfriend has a seafood allergy and they went out of their way to accommodate that, including the cook, Carlos, personally checking in to make sure everything was good. Fantastic breakfast place.P.S. - Try the biscuits & gravy!

Wonderful food, clean, great service, and if you’re fortunate enough to come on a school holiday, you may meet Isabella, the owner’s 8 year old daughter who hustles with the best of them as she greets and seats customers with a friendly smile and interesting conversation, and busily buses tables in between. So glad we stopped here. I highly recommend this restaurant!

Great food great price great service

Absolutely fantastic! We lucked into this place very hungry on our first morning in town just before the lunch crowd because we love supporting local places, but they really exceeded any and all expectations. The homemade salmon sausage was out of this world, and the home fries were absolutely to die for - nothing frozen here! The biscuits were good (I think - I don't even like biscuits and I liked these), the poached eggs and hollandaise amazing, and my husband loved his omelet. And don't even get me started on the sausage gravy - YUM! Fast, mega-friendly and attentive service, very welcoming - we'll definitely be back. (And we don't ever go out for breakfast, really ... we will while we're here!)

We had breakfast here on Sunday morning and it was wonderful. This restaurant is very clean with a very friendly staff. I had the Irish eggs Benedict which was with corned beef hash on a biscuit and my wife had country style eggs Benedict which was served with sausage on a English muffin. Both breakfasts were cooked perfectly and came out quickly especially on a busy Sunday. I would highly recommend trying this place out, you won't be disappointed.

Great service and excellent breakfast. Pancakes are huge, fluffy, buttery, and don't require syrup. The OJ is pulpy. Bagels are soft and they use American Cheese (which I prefer).
